Frequently Asked Questions

What is your booking process?

You can find a more extensive explanation of it here, but the synopsis of it comes down to getting a contact signed and a deposit being placed. At that point, you’re booked! It wont be radio silence until wedding day after that I promise. Even with my brides that book over a year in advance I make sure to email them every couple of months if I haven’t heard from them just to touch base.

What do I get with my Collection?

Aside from an awesome team to make art out of the beautiful moments of your day, you get edited JPEG images. The amount of photos you get is contingent upon how much coverage of the day you wanted as well as how eventful the day was. Contracts for 8 hours average 700 images.

Do you offer prints/albums?

Yes! These are additional to your package and you can seamlessly order prints from the online gallery you receive. The process with the album is a little more involved and you can find more information on it here.

What is your price range?

I cater specialized collections to each bride as each wedding it different. Most popular collection is $3500.

Do you offer financing/Flexible payments?

Yes. Everyone can afford the level of art they want. If you’re planning a wedding over a year in a advance I’d love to talk flexible payment plans with you.

How do I get my photos?

You will get an email with a link to your online gallery that contains your full resolution images as well as ones optimized for social media.

What is the difference between editing and retouching?

Editing is the process of turning the raw photo and mastering the raw file to not only an appealing image, but also to put the artist touch and perspective on a moment, often correcting white balance, exposure and the such. Retouching involves going in depth in an image and removing skin discoloration and redness, imperfections and blemishes and stray hairs etc. The retouching process is usually reserved for proper headshot sessions and usually not done in an event/wedding scenario as most images, the face takes up such little resolution these imperfections are imperceptible.

Do you offer video?

YES! Find examples of this here.

Do you shoot all your weddings? Is it just you?

I believe that if you hire me because of my work and expertise, you should expect me at your big day. To bring you the quality of product I deliver I do require a few more pairs of hands. I have trusted collogues that work frequently aiding in the creation of the galleries and videos we craft. I cannot be at two places at once and I can’t say I can attain all moments, but with their help, I can come close.

What can I expect leading up to Wedding day?

I like to keep the lines of communication open, so if I don’t hear from you I’ll reach out and see how all the wedding planning is going. Dialogue will really start kicking when you have a timeline going and we can have discussions on photo times. Probably a month or so prior to the big day I’ll ask for a family photo list so that we have something to go off of during the big day and are able to plan it into your timeline. Week or so prior I’ll just make sure all getting ready locations are the same and nothing has been altered.
